Stourbridge Nursery - Teddy Bears Picnic

Stourbridge Nursery - Teddy Bears Picnic

During the warmer weather, Pre-school 2 really enjoyed creating a teddy bears picnic out in the garden. The children each brought in a special teddy from home or chose one from nursery. The children used available resources to create props to support role play. We gathered together plates and food from the role play area for the children to set up as the teddy bears' food. Outside we created a table out of crates and clothes and placed the food onto the table. The children all chose a plate of food for their teddy bear to enjoy and helped them to eat it . After a short story we all had a picnic together with sandwiches, strawberries, orange, yogurts and of course cake!
