Remembrance Day celebrations at Wolverhampton

Remembrance Day celebrations at Wolverhampton

This week the children in nursery have been learning all about Remembrance Day and have been exploring the Poppy flower.

The children in Pre School Room have been remembering the soldiers who took part in the wars and have watched a small video clip from CBeebies, an animation that sees war as experienced by animals in a WW1 battlefield.

The children created their own poppies using, air drying clay and a variety of other creative materials and they also made a “BIG” poppy table, helping them to learn about sizes and using this table as a focus for the week.
